A Beautiful Day for Planting the Seed at Worcester Fitness
Family, Fun and Community at Worcester Fitness
What a day!
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Worcester Fitness for the Planting the Seed Foundation’s Seeds for Success Family Fun Day. Beautiful weather, great food, family activities and an incredible turnout made it a wonderful celebration of community.
We loved watching friends, families and neighbors come together, enjoy the day and learn more about an organization that has meant so much to the Worcester Fitness family for decades.
Worcester Fitness Is Planting the Seed’s New Home
Worcester Fitness is proud to be the official home of the Planting the Seed Foundation.
Our family has worked with Planting the Seed for more than 35 years. Welcoming the foundation to Worcester Fitness represents the next chapter in a relationship built on friendship, service and a shared commitment to helping local families.
Planting the Seed is a volunteer-powered nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless children and families in Worcester and throughout Central Massachusetts. The foundation generates resources for local social-service agencies and organizes community events throughout the year.
Its best-known tradition is the annual holiday toy drive, which has provided generations of local children, from newborns through teenagers, with gifts and a little extra joy during the holidays. Planting the Seed estimates that nearly $1 million in toys and gifts has been donated since the drive began.
