YOGA

A yoga class is a holistic exercise session that focuses on balancing the mind, body, and spirit through a series of postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. It typically begins with gentle stretches to warm up the body, followed by a sequence of asanas (poses) that vary in difficulty and purpose, targeting flexibility, strength, and balance.

Each posture is held for a number of breaths, encouraging participants to focus inwardly, promoting mindfulness and relaxation. Breath control, or pranayama, is integral to the practice, aiding in concentration and helping to flow smoothly from one pose to the next. The class often concludes with a period of relaxation or meditation, allowing the body to assimilate the benefits of the practice.

Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, yoga classes are adaptable, with modifications available to accommodate different abilities, making it a universally accessible form of exercise that nurtures both physical and mental well-being.

BOOT CAMP

Bootcamp class is designed to deliver a full body workout that is guaranteed to help you lose weight, build and tone muscle, and strengthen your core!

We design our program focusing on constant movement while using body weight, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, battle ropes, and cardio equipment to give you a fun and effective workout that is appropriate for any level of fitness!

AQUA FITNESS

Aqua aerobics is a refreshing and low-impact exercise class that takes place in the buoyant environment of a swimming pool. It combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with resistance training, all performed to the beat of lively music.

As participants move through the water, they engage in various exercises designed to enhance cardiovascular fitness, improve strength, and increase flexibility. The natural resistance of the water intensifies movements, offering a challenging workout while also reducing the risk of muscle or joint injury.

The supportive nature of the water makes this class ideal for all fitness levels, including seniors, those with joint issues, or anyone looking for a fun and effective way to stay active. Aqua aerobics not only offers a full-body workout but also provides a unique social experience, as participants enjoy the camaraderie of group exercise in a refreshing aquatic setting.

FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH

A functional strength training class is a dynamic and efficient form of exercise designed to enhance the body’s ability to perform everyday activities with ease. In this class, participants engage in a variety of movements that mimic common physical tasks, focusing on building the strength, stability, and mobility needed for real-life challenges.

Exercises often involve multiple muscle groups and joints, incorporating equipment like free weights, resistance bands, and stability balls, or relying on bodyweight alone. The workouts are structured to improve core strength, balance, and coordination, thus reducing the risk of injury in daily life. Functional strength training is adaptable to all fitness levels, allowing each participant to progress at their own pace.

The emphasis on practical movement patterns makes this class not just a workout, but a means to enhance overall quality of life, making daily tasks easier and improving overall physical performance.

POWER METCON

Power Metcon class is geared towards any fitness level that combines a dedicated focus on strength training as well as the high cardio output of a metabolic conditioning class.

The primary strength block focuses on barbell lifts including deadlifts, squats, cleans, and bench press among others. The metabolic block includes wall balls, ropes, plyos, ab/core work, and cardio conditioning.

SPIN

A spinning class is a high-energy, cardiovascular workout set in a group environment and led by a motivating instructor. Participants ride on stationary bikes, with the class structured around various intensities and speeds, simulating outdoor cycling experiences like hill climbs, sprints, and interval training. The instructor guides the class through these different terrains, often synchronized with a curated playlist that adds to the dynamic and exhilarating atmosphere.

Riders can adjust their bike’s resistance to match their fitness level, making the class suitable for beginners and seasoned cyclists alike. The focus is on endurance, strength, and calorie burning, with an emphasis on heart rate zones and pedal cadence. Spinning is not only a fantastic way to improve cardiovascular health and leg strength, but it’s also a low-impact exercise, reducing the risk of joint strain.

The communal and immersive nature of the class fosters a sense of camaraderie and collective achievement among participants, making it a popular choice for those seeking a fun and effective group workout.
